Hello, and a warm welcome. I’m Diane, I am a friendly, qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I offer a safe, confidential and reflective space to help you to explore your thoughts, feelings, or any issues that may be causing you distress, or confusion. My focus is on building a therapeutic bond which will enable us to work patiently together, as I support you in finding ways to move forward, at your own pace. For me, the relationship between client and counsellor is very important and that you feel comfortable.

I believe that every individual has the potential to grow. My aim, is to provide you with an empathic, non-judgemental space to ensure that you feel valued, respected and listened to, helping you to develop an enhanced awareness of self, which can lead to change and growth in behaviour and outlook.

Working as an integrative therapist means that I use a number of different therapeutic approaches and techniques, to tailor your needs.

I have experience of working with a wide range of issues; including, abuse, anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, intrusive thoughts, loss and grief, low self-esteem, relationship issues and more. Please do take a look further down my page, for the areas of counselling I can help with.

I offer face-to-face counselling at a calm location in the village of Kinver, South Staffordshire. I also offer online counselling, via Zoom or telephone. Online or telephone sessions are a good choice if you feel you would struggle to fit a series of face-to-face sessions into your schedule, or find it difficult to travel.

I understand how daunting it can feel when taking those first steps in choosing a counsellor that feels right for you. I offer a free no obligation consultation, via online or telephone, this usually takes around 15 minutes and will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. This also gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and to explore the possibilities for working together. Here, I can provide you with further information so you can decide if you would like to book your first session.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. If you have any questions or think that I may be able to help, then please do feel free to contact me; I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
